Where it began…
The Ellipsis Trading Table has been a part of the Ellipsis Open Mic from the start, almost. The Open Mic began in August 2024 and the Trading Table was introduced a month later.
What it does…
Many poets are self-published and/or create art in other media. The Trading Table offers poets:
An opportunity to sell their own small scale art,
An opportunity to show their other skills and talents to the community,
A simple way for the community to support each other by buying and trading wares.
And all the rest…
Members of the Ellipsis Poetry community are permitted to bring along their own books, zines, and hand-made small-scale art and crafts to sell or swap. These items are expected to be no larger than a standard paperback book, although we also expect commonsense and a sense of play to override.
Managing all aspects of sales is the sole responsibility of the seller. Ellipsis takes no responsibility for items on the table, other than their own.
